Newark Mentoring Movement

The Newark Mentoring Movement works with local mentoring organizations achieve their overall objections, recruiting qualified mentors, train staff on evidence-based best practices, as well as funding and advocacy. NMM is not direct service, rather a support system to enhance Newark's mentoring organizations by sharing effective mentoring practices. By using the model of collective impact, the goal is to enroll 10,000 Newark youth in highly structured and sustainable mentoring programs in the next five years.
