Center for Freethought Equality

The Center for Freethought Equality is the advocacy and political arm of the American Humanist Association. The goals of the Center for Freethought Equality are to increase the visibility and political clout of the atheist and humanist community, promote progressive evidence-based public policy, defend the civil liberties of all Americans, and protect the secular foundation of our country through a strict separation of church and state.

Affiliated with the Center for Freethought Equality is the political action committee, Center for Freethought Equality PAC (also known as the Freethought Equality Fund), whose mission is to increase the number of open humanists and atheists, and allies, in public office at all levels of government.
