Nest

Nest is a non-profit organization that provides microfinance loans to women in developing countries to begin or maintain art- or craft- based businesses. To fund these loans we partner with artists and designers from around the world who create an exclusive product for Nest that we sell via our online marketplace, wholesale to boutiques around the country and through events and fundraisers. We also allow the women repaying their loans to pay back in products, if desired, that are also incorporated into the Nest line. Additionally, Nest designers not only offer exclusive merchandise for sale to fund loans, many have also agreed to advise loan recipients on building and maintaining art-based businesses. In this way, Nest draws together artists from across the globe to create lasting social change.
