Transformational Communities Network

Transformational Communities Network (TCN) is a pioneering initiative dedicated to fostering a network of transformational communities by empowering local leaders with the necessary training and ongoing support to pursue the work of shalom. Established by the Rio Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church in 2017, with backing from Methodist Healthcare Ministries, TCN is a collaborative effort among churches and community partners committed to community development and spiritual transformation. Through its offering of training experiences, TCN shares valuable knowledge and provides a supportive environment that ignites passion, enhances skills, and builds confidence among participants. This initiative encourages learning, relationship-building, community development, and mutual support, all in the spirit of Christ's mission. As TCN continues to evolve, it is becoming a beacon for new models of community development, transforming engaged communities into reference points and teaching centers for spiritual transformation within both the church and the broader community.
