Initiative for Policy Dialogue

Nobel laureate economist and Columbia University economics professor Joseph Stiglitz founded the Initiative for Policy Dialogue (IPD) in July 2000 to help developing countries explore policy alternatives and enable wider civic participation in economic policymaking. IPD is now a global network of more than 200 leading economists, political scientists, and practitioners from the North and South with diverse backgrounds and views.
