Since 1989 the Polk CDC has been providing income eligible Polk County residents with opportunities for high quality, affordable housing supported by self-help programs that assist residents in their efforts to achieve social and economic stability. The CDC works collaboratively with a variety of investors, partners, and local governments and is solely governed by a Board of Directors comprised of local residents.
