The mission of Prince Dance Company is to enrich the lives of the people of Hawaii and the world by creating thought-provoking theatrical dance works which challenge and inspire its audiences and by ensuring all keiki/youth who want to learn and perform in the performing arts have the opportunity.
Prince Dance Company (PDC) is inspired by environmental and social issues to create and produce full-length works for the stage and shorter, site-specific works that exemplify the best of contemporary dance—physical, dynamic, and thought-provoking in its delivery.
Collaborations between the company and experts from fields as diverse as astronomy to ecology, local schools to other Hawaii artists, allow the works to speak on many levels and cover a broad range of subjects not only meaningful to Hawaii but also to communities across the globe.
