Bonner Office of Community Service at Morehouse College

The Office of Community Service was first established in 1993, to serve as a clearinghouse for community service. The Office sponsors four major programs, two of which provide scholarship opportunities for students who have demonstrated a commitment to service.As you are aware, Morehouse College, like so many historically Black Colleges and Universities, was founded on the premise of service. With the collaboration of the Bonner Foundation, Morehouse College has established this campus-wide office to instill dedication, commitment of serving and volunteering the gifts of our students and faculty to the Atlanta community. The Bonner Office of Community Service plays a significant role in assisting Morehouse College fulfill her mission of “developing men with disciplined minds who will lead lives of leadership, service and self-realization” by facilitating student involvement in community service. It is our mission to “perpetuate a culture of service” on and off the campus.
