OCEAN GRANTS
Missão
Ocean Grants' mission is to identify and fund outstanding Ocean-focused organizations. We believe we can best move the needle on Ocean health by supporting the most impactful orgs in various challenge areas. Our current focus is plastic, microplastic and marine debris and we're supporting 8 recommended organizations (see https://www.oceangrants.org/recommended-organizations)
Sobre Nós
OG is the brainchild of a small group of Silicon Valley veterans who are passionate about the Ocean and want to do more to help. In collaboration with scientists and researchers, we use ourSilicon Valley contacts, research abilities and a lot of determination to accelerate the good work being done by outstanding Ocean-focused nonprofits. Since 2019 we have tripled our grant giving every year and are on track to do so again this year. You may have wondered about the capital "O" we use for the word "Ocean"? We believe the Ocean deserves our ultimate respect, adoration and glorification, so it's just our little way of paying homage.
