WHITE BEAR LAKE AREA EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION

The mission of the White Bear Lake Area Educational Foundation is to enhance the White Bear Lake Area School District's ability to provide excellence in education for all students.

For more than 25 years, the White Bear Lake Area Educational Foundation (WBLAEF) has provided support to the WBLA School District in the form of funding for classroom initiatives, teacher professional development and students scholarships. In addition, the Angel Fund provides support to families in need, including funds for food, shelter, clothing, prescriptions and everyday necessities.

Together with community partners, WBLAEF has:

• Awarded over $400,000 in funding for teacher personal and professional growth
• Invested more than 2 million dollars in educational enrichment
• Contributed ongoing funds for technology, environmental education and the arts.
• Delivered warm clothing to hundreds of students and their families and provided funds for food and shelter security.

As part of our ongoing mission, WBLAEF hosts to exciting fundraisers each year. On June 24, 2019, we will once again host the much-anticipated annual golf tournament, and on October 11, 2019 our Bear Legacy Event at Vadnais Heights Commons. Proceeds from both events enables WBLAEF to continue our valuable work in the school district.
