MAIN STREET FAIRMONT INC

Main Street West Virginia’s annual awards ceremony has honored MSF over the last several years with the outstanding Design, Promotion, Organization and Economic Restructuring Committee awards. Additionally, Main Street West Virginia bestowed our group with numerous special project awards, recognizing MSF as an organization dedicated to its community. Perhaps the most telling example of our work was the recognition by the National Trust for Historic Preservation of Main Street Fairmont as a Great American Main Street Community. Our work to revitalize Fairmont is making national headlines and although the process is incremental, our organization is leading the charge to make Fairmont a great place to live, work and play!

The city of Fairmont is ripe for growth for both commercial and residential development. By encouraging new investment in the Southside, Eastside, Downtown and the Riverfront areas, the economic tax base will increase, quality affordable housing will be available and the city center will again become a vibrant part of the community.
