Firedoglake.com (FDL) is a leading progressive news site, online community, and activism organization consistently ranked as one of the most influential political websites. Our mission is to increase and improve grassroots activism by empowering individuals to take action and help themselves.

Firedoglake's reporting and activism focuses on accountabilty, transparency and social and economic justice issues. Our work has had a significant impact on the recent debates over health care, drug policy, civil liberties, financial reform and more.

Firedoglake has a community site called MyFDL, where anyone can sign up for a free account and start their own blog.
