headspace is Australia’s national youth mental health foundation. We provide support to young people who are going through difficult times.

We believe all young people are important and deserve the best care possible. headspace provides support for a range of mental health challenges young people go through, including mental illness, physical illness, drug and alcohol issues and vocational concerns.

We also give young people a voice and continually try to influence the government and community on their behalf.

headspace has 30 centres around Australia which provide welcoming and friendly support, information and advice to young people aged 12-25.

headspace also recently introduced eheadspace.org.au - a confidential, free, anonymous, secure space where young people can chat or email with qualified youth mental health professionals.

headspace.org.au also provides information and advice about important youth issues and allows young people to submit their stories about their own experiences.
