Waterfront Rescue Mission strives to demonstrate God’s goodness by providing rescue and recovery services in Jesus’ name.
Waterfront Rescue Mission believes that caring for the poor and homeless is not an option; it is a mandate from the Lord. Since its founding in 1949, the Mission has been a place where those who have nothing left can find hope and experience the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
What began as a refuge for wayward fishermen has grown into full-service Missions in two cities that provide faith-based rescue and recovery programs that are lifting people out of homelessness, poverty, and addiction.
Volunteer Locations
Volunteers can serve at multiple Waterfront Rescue Mission locations across the Gulf Coast:
Volunteers at Thrift Store locations assist with sorting donations, organizing merchandise, stocking shelves, and supporting store operations that directly fund our programs.
