Child Care South Africa is dedicated to creating a safer, stronger future for children living in poverty. We provide quality, comprehensive care and support that nurtures each child’s well-being, dignity, and potential, while working with families and communities to help break the cycle of poverty and build brighter futures.

Child Care South Africa (CCSA) is a registered Non-Profit Organisation established in 2000, dedicated to protecting the dignity, rights, and wellbeing of children and young people, particularly those living in vulnerable rural and underserved communities in KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape. Our work is rooted in the belief that every child deserves a safe, nurturing environment and equal opportunities to reach their full potential. We strengthen families, empower communities, and create pathways for children and youth to access protection, education, health services, and personal development opportunities.

Our core values are dignity, compassion, integrity, accountability, inclusion, and community empowerment. We believe in putting children first, promoting their voices, safeguarding their rights, and working collaboratively with families, traditional leaders, government departments, schools, and community structures to create lasting change.

CCSA serves orphaned and vulnerable children, adolescents, young women, youth, caregivers, and families across the King Cetshwayo District, eThekwini Metro, Bizana and surrounding communities. Through child protection programmes, youth development initiatives, educational support, health promotion, HIV prevention interventions, life skills training, and community outreach, we help build resilient children, stronger families, and thriving communities. Over the years, our programmes have reached thousands of children and young people, empowering them with knowledge, skills, support, and hope for a brighter future.

Our vision is to create a society where children and youth are protected, valued, and empowered to become responsible, self-sufficient adults who contribute positively to society and help break the cycle of poverty. We remain committed to sustainable community development and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to grow, learn, and succeed.
