Hats4Healing donates to Yale New Haven's pediatric oncology unit. Our purpose is to provide warmth, comfort, and unity to pediatric cancer patients through social visitation and the donation of handmade hats. Handmade hats provide warmth, comfort, and unity because cancer is an isolating disease that interferes with body temperature regulation. Social visitation furthers our mission in creating a sense of camaraderie amongst cancer patients.
