Friends of Yemin Orde, a 501c3 organization based in Bethesda, MD, supports the programs and activities of Yemin Orde Youth Village in Israel. Yemin Orde is home to more than 400 at-risk youth from around the world. Located just south of Haifa, Yemin Orde is both a home and school environment. The Village's success with refugee, disadvantaged and at-risk youth has attracted widespread acclaim throughout Israel. Friends of Yemin Orde also supports Village Way Educational Initiatives,an independent nonprofit created to expand Yemin Orde's unique educational methodology, called the Village Way, to other youth villages and public high schools for at-risk immigrant youth in Israel.
