Primary Source was founded in 1989 as a non-profit educational resource center offering professional development and curricular resources to K-12 teachers and schools. To meet the needs of today’s students, we collaborate with teachers, schools, and educational organizations across all subjects and skill levels to offer professional development courses and create curricular materials that help make global and cultural learning an integral and intentional part of every student’s classroom experience.
Primary Source believes in the power of understanding the world from diverse perspectives and a future in which all individuals are informed and contributing citizens. To that end, we work to advance cultural responsiveness, global competency, and civic-mindedness in schools.
