The Get In Touch Foundation was founded in 2008 in Milford, Connecticut by Mary Ann Wasil, a breast cancer survivor and advocate for breast self-awareness and care. Through free our Daisy Wheel teaching tools (now distributed to well over a million women and girls), we strive to bring the message of breast self-care to everyone in an appropriate, caring and thoughtful way. While the organization was initially focused on bringing breast self-exam tools to school-age students, we are expanding our reach to underserved communities such as non-native English speakers, women in recovery, and women with experience in the mental health care system. We believe that everyone should be equipped with the tools to lead a long and healthy life.
