WOMEN OF WORTH (WoW)

Women of Worth (WoW) has provided a secure transitional home for clients for more than 20 years. Clients are able to live in the home for up to one year to recover from abuse and rebuild their lives free from threats to their well-being.

WoW provides proven support to victims escaping and rebuilding their lives. During the journey from victim to survivor, clients learn how to maintain healthy relationships with self and others. Survivors contribute to community health and wellness in several ways:

• Positive interactions with family, friends, coworkers, community acquaintances, etc.
• Newly acquired purchasing power within local and other communities
• Empowerment to choose healthy directions in life, which may include investing in education, mental and physical care (therapies, gyms, nutrition, etc.), and other support services available in the community
• Overall reduction of violence and increase in happiness within community
