SOUTH SIDE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The South Side Chamber of Commerce is a diverse organization representing the interests of our historic retail and hospitality district and our businesses. We work to balance economy with quality of life. We act as advocates with city and state government for our businesses and community.

The chamber produces four signature events each year including the South Side Soup Contest (partnered with The Brashear Association), Carson StreetFEST, Golf Outing, and Mittens & Mingles. We also support community events such as the St Patrick's Day Parade, Pittsburgh Marathon, and OpenStreetsPGH. All events are managed with volunteer committees headed by a chamber board member.

The chamber operates the South Side Welcome Center - one of six official Visit Pittsburgh welcome centers - to share information with visitors and support local business.

The chamber also provides developmental programs and networking events. We have a small paid staff.
