John Hope Settlement House

John Hope Settlement House has been a recognized leader in RI and Providence for nearly 80 years in both neighborhood advocacy and the provision of a wide and consistently expanding array of relevant human services to individuals and families in need. In July 2008, John Hope, in partnership with the City of Providence, became lead agency for Making Connections Providence, an Annie E. Casey Foundation initiative based on the belief that the best way to improve outcomes for vulnerable children living in tough neighborhoods is to strengthen their families' connections to economic opportunity, positive social networks, and effective services and supports.
