OWIP is a recently developed photography program centered around the kids at the East 7th St Center in Lexington, KY. Our goal is to help and motivate these children to connect to their community and understand their worlds through the art of photography.
OWIP is designed to touch the forgotten and ignored children, who, with a little love and motivation could grow up to do wonderful and amazing things for their community or even the world. Photography is an incredible universal tool for creating a rapid and close bond. OWIP mentors and volunteers then use that bond to invest time and encouragement in the children.
