Plaza West Grandfamily Program

Created in 2018, the Plaza West Grandfamily (PWGF) Program is part of an affordable housing development created by Mission First Housing and Columbus Property Management. The program is unique as it is dedicated to “grandfamilies” – grandparents raising grandchildren where the parent is not present. The Plaza West design and programming creates a grandfamilies “residential village” that provides a host of wraparound programs and services to residents in furtherance of Mission First’s goal of fostering self- sufficiency, independence, and a high quality of life.
