The Uniting Harris Community Centre works with individuals, families, groups, workers, students and the community in Ultimo, Pyrmont and surrounding areas.
The Centre’s work is guided by the principles of social justice, access and equity and community development.
Our main objectives are:
- To provide relevant resources, information, referral and services to individuals and the community
- To support and resource community groups and encourage them to become actively involved in issues affecting their lives through the development of positive community relationships
- To develop and implement relevant educational, social and recreation activities and projects that aim to create community harmony
- To support the community on social and cultural issues.
