The Tender Adult Day Center & Alzheimer's Respite
Missão
Mission: The Tender is a non-profit dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to those affected by Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of dementia. Our day center offers personalized care, nutritious meals, and engaging activities to frail persons with dementia, while also providing respite to their caregivers. Our CARES program empowers caregivers through support groups, educational resources, and referrals.
Sobre Nós
For more than 46 years The Tender had provided a safe, structured, home-like setting in which those over age 60 can make friends and participate in activities, pet therapy, gardening, intergenerational activities, music, exercise and receive meals and peer support. In addition, The Tender cares for those suffering from Alzheimer's Disease or other dementias by providing personalized care in a small group setting, supervision and sensory stimulation as well as support, education and referrals for caregivers.
