Horizons at St. Richard’s Episcopal School is committed to empower underserved youth and their families to imagine new possibilities for themselves, their education, and their community by: · Targeting children K-8 (K-5 in summer 2013) who may be limited in opportunity because of low family income and poorly resourced schools. · Developing partnerships with IPS in the community nearest St. Richard’s Episcopal School. · Offering a multi-year enrichment program that consists of core academic classes, innovative enrichment activities, and strong swimming program in a nurturing environment. · Creating a long-term relationship with each child and their family (nine+ years).
