One Health Workforce-University of Minnesota

Saint Paul, MN

  • Sobre Nós

The One Health Workforce (OHW) project is a five-year, USAID-funded project to work through universities and university networks (a) to promote a One Health approach in the preparation and practice of animal and human health workers and (b) to upgrade the knowledge, skills and practice of the larger One Health Workforce in target countries which is housed at the University of Minnesota. The project is based on the premise that government ministries, industries, non-profits, and academic institutions must work together to achieve a stronger and more effective public health system, from the first responders on the front line to the policy makers implementing change. Universities are key pillars to drive One Health change as they educate the future One Health Workforce (OHW).
