Missão
United Way is working to advance the common good by focusing on education, income and health. These are the building blocks for a good life—a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health. Our goal is to create long-lasting change by addressing our community’s most serious problems through a results-focused approach that meets basic needs and improves the overall quality of life for Lake & Sumter Counties.

United Way of Lake & Sumter Counties strengthens our community by supporting dozens of programs at many local non-profit agencies that are held accountable to produce results. All funded programs are reviewed annually for effectiveness and efficiency. Multiplying impact; appreciating and growing the commitment of volunteers, providers and donors; accomplishing measurable long term results with and through partners is our message and value. Together with community leaders, educators, government, volunteers, non-profits and businesses, we can LIVE UNITED.
