About Mosier Community School (MCS)
MCS is a K-8 public charter school located in Mosier, Oregon. The school serves approximately 220 students in grades K-8. After spending 85 years as the community’s neighborhood school, Mosier became a charter school in The Dalles/ North Wasco District in 2002 used a Place-Based Education Philosophy. Students at Mosier learn about math, science, social students and language arts through exploring the world at their doorsteps via project based learning and an inquiry-based approach to teaching.
