The East Providence Prevention Coalition is a citizens group dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles. The Coalition develops proactive strategies through collaboration with community partners in both the public and private sectors. As community advocates the EPPC works with local businesses, organizations and schools to provide education and training on prevention topics relevant to East Providence. The EPPC is dedicated to actively supporting the education and training we provide by advocating for policies that support the goals of health and wellness in our community. Once policies are in place the EPPC works with officials to ensure that these policies are enforced. The EPPC monitors its success through data collection and evaluation.
