Greenwood Heights Co-op Preschool

We are a small collective of parents in Brooklyn who have formed a home-based co-op playschool for our 2 year old children.

We intend to create a playschool in which our kids can learn, play with others, and be creative in an unhurried, nurturing setting. Our main goal is to provide the kids with an enjoyable, beneficial away-from-home experience that encourages social play, cooperation, and creativity. We hope to have a play- and art-focused curriculum flexible enough to encompass the children's passions and needs along with the teacher’s strengths and interests. It’s also important to us that this playschool provides our kids with a sense of routine and some daily structure. Our dream teacher is not only creative and fun, but is comfortable leading a group of children and effectively handling whatever discipline issues may arise.
