Teach to Excel Foundation

Teach To Excel Foundation develops long term relationships with public, charter and independent schools through a continuous dialogue with principals, directors, and school leaders. We understand the need to obtain the most qualified teaching professionals and to create development opportunities to maintain excellent teacher quality.

T2E works with educators in schools and school districts to improve professional capability of teachers and educators through high quality professional development and promotion of positive youth development to improve student outcomes in low-income communities.

Raising academic achievement of all students is vital to tackling the challenges of high school graduation and successful career readiness is the core of Teach To Excel Foundation mission and the schools we service.

The T2E team has been working with NYC charter schools since 2007 and has developed a tailored portfolio of school support options that assist in providing more high quality educational options for all school children. Through this work our recruitment, selection, training and school and teacher support assists teachers to secure professional development training, per diem and/or full-time employment in NYC low-income urban charter schools. As a result, the schools increase their number of high performing teachers with strong instructional and adult leadership skills committed to increase student achievement gains and graduation rates.
