By providing guided instruction in the areas of behavior, social skills, and communication our goal is to maximize the potential of all children with special focus in the area of Autism and other related developmental disabilities such as but not limited to ADD and ADHD. We have therapists on site who work with teachers as needed to help achieve individualized academic and developmental goals. Our low student to teacher ratio allows the one-on-one instruction every child needs while also giving them the benefit of the socialization and group work of a classroom.
We offer a range of educational and therapeutic options full time, part-time, hourly, one-on-one, and group therapy year around. We provide opportunities for Classroom Instruction, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Developmental Therapy, Behavior Therapy, and as therapeutic and educational assistive technology have the use of the Integrated Listening Systems (iLs).
We participate in the Gardiner Scholarship, McKay Scholarship, Hope Scholarship, a Reading Scholarship and the Florida Tax Credit Program. For more information on our program email us or visit or www.southwaltonacademy.com
