Through the generosity of those who understand how critically important it is for everyone in our community to have access to high quality healthcare, the Broadlawns Medical Center Foundation Gift Shop supports the mission of Broadlawns Medical Center and its efforts to provide exceptional healthcare in medically-current facilities. Proceeds from the Broadlawns Medical Center Foundation support capital improvement initiatives, programming and services throughout the organization. The needs of our patient population are significant, and support of the Broadlawns Medical Center Foundation truly makes a meaningful and tangible difference to the most vulnerable individuals within our community.

Since 1924, Broadlawns Medical Center has enhanced the quality of life for the Des Moines community through its healing, teaching and compassionate care. Broadlawns Medical Center is the safety net hospital for Polk County, and Broadlawns is dedicated to ensuring that high quality healthcare is accessible to individuals throughout our community who have inadequate insurance coverage and for those who do not have insurance coverage of any kind.
