IES Brain Research Foundation
Missão
The mission of this Foundation is to help advance brain research & education towards a better understanding of brain function, that will lead to effective treatments for serious brain diseases & conditions that impact us all, such as Alzheimer's, Pakinson's, pain, addiction, schizophrenia, etc. The Foundation encourages outstanding bright young students to enter this important field of research to carry on this essential work. We also educate the public about the importance of this basic research that will help find answers that we all need & want. Join us in our mission for Brain Health!
Sobre Nós
We raise money through fund-raisers, partnerships and donations to fund our programs: Student Summer Fellowship Program, Training Grants, Travel Grants (to allow young scientists to attend conferences where they can learn from accomplished scientists), Teeacher Recognition program & Speaker's Bureau and our future goal: bridge grants for outstanding labs in need of money to continue the important research.
