The Equity Project (Philadelphia)

The Equity Project is committed to advancing racial equity and economic mobility in Kensington. We do this by providing employment services and critical community resources, with a commitment to continually evolving our programming based on the needs and wants of our neighbors.

Our core program features innovative services for both jobseekers and employers. We provide quality skills training, original workshops, and personalized, one-on-one case management for jobseekers while identifying qualified candidates for the area’s employers. In addition, The Equity Project is open to all for the following:

• Literacy and basic computer skills building
• Job search, placement, and retention support
• Public access to computers, online resources, printers, and fax machines
• Community building activities and programs
• Free children’s books through the Mayor’s Read by 4th Initiative
