Grupo Internacional de Paz

The International Peace Group -GIP- is a private nonprofit organization that seeks to promote a new vision of development that contributes from a holistic and sustainable perspective in the search for peace and collective reconciliation purposes. GIP works together with the community, business and government sectors in socially responsible proposals to contribute to the development of communities, with special emphasis on sports methodologies of secondary and tertiary prevention. The methodologies have the specific purpose of affecting favorably the quality of life of people through the peace support processes in the territory, under the prospects for prevention, reconciliation and restoration of affected communities. In this regard, the processes are involved in planning, implementation and evaluation of interagency strategies of community intervention and provide support to entities responsible of peace policymaking in our countries.
