The Burns Bog Conservation Society is based in Delta, British Columbia. Founded in 1988, the Society's mandate is to bring about "the conservation and protection of Burns Bog forever."
Burns Bog is the largest undeveloped landmass in the West Coast of the Americas. It is a bog of about 8000 acres.
The Society's goals are to provide facilities to enjoy the bog without harming it, protect the bog through advocacy and educate the public about its importance.
