Companion of Women and Children Empowerment(COWOCE)

Companion of Women and Children Empowerment (COWOCE) is Non- Government Organization geared at Promoting human rights and Community Development, it was established on 22 October 2007 as Community Based Organization (CBO) was called Ebeneza Group. Late registered as an NGO on 22 August 2018 by the Ministry of Community Development, Gender and Children and was issued with the Reg.00NGO/00009869 under the NGOs Act of 2002, section 12(2) Tanzania Law No.24. Ebeneza Group changed name because of the Tanzania country legal requirementss at to work the national level. The organization working on different issues suc building capacities of the communities in the identification and responding to enviromental protection, creating community awareness on the rights of women, elderly and Children in partnership with other legal instituons, community awareness on HIV/AIDS pandemic and how the ommunity can prevent itself against new infection and support people living with HIV/AIDS, EMPOWERING THE COMMUNITY SO AS TO STRENGHEN EDUCATION and vocationarehabilitation programs for attaining self sustaining economies and to empower and support Vulnerable Children access education and Medical support.

However, Cowoce implement community based Health Education and Promotion programs aiming at building capacity of Youth, indivuduals and community members in health and economic development.
