CoDevelopment Canada

CoDevelopment Canada was founded in 1985 in British Columbia to promote alliances between people in Canada and developing countries in order to help facilitate equitable global development and to educate Canadians about southern realities. This is accomplished by linking groups in BC with groups in Latin America and Cuba through projects designed to support the southern partners' work to achieve better social, political and economic conditions. The link between these northern and southern groups is CoDev's essential strategy for raising awareness to mobilise Canadian support for badly needed changes to local and international systems. In addition, CoDev produces teacher resources on pertinent issues such as child labour, globalisation and peace and conflict.
