If you’ve watched the rise of movement-shaking leaders like Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Mayor Zohran Mamdani and wished you were there at the very beginning—on the clipboards, in the strategy meetings, and on the doors before the rest of the world caught on—this is your opportunity.
Ben Yee is a lifelong New Yorker, organizer, and technologist running to represent the 66th Assembly District (Greenwich Village, SoHo, Tribeca, NYU area). For twenty years, Ben has been an "outsider on the inside" of the Democratic Party, fighting to make our government transparent, accountable, and accessible to everyone—not just the donor class.
As a State Committeeman and civics educator, Ben has trained thousands of New Yorkers to navigate the halls of power. Now, he’s running to take that mission to Albany to solve the existential challenges facing our community: a crushing affordability crisis, the urgent need for climate resiliency, and a healthcare system that leaves too many behind.
We are a 100% people-powered campaign. We don’t take real estate or lobbyist money. We are looking for mission-aligned individuals to join our team who are ready to work at the intersection of technology, grassroots organizing, and bold progressive policy to build a smarter, safer, and more affordable New York.
Ben isn’t just running for a seat; he is running to dismantle the pay-to-play culture that has held Albany captive for decades. This campaign is 100% people-powered. We refuse every cent of real estate and lobbyist money because our only mandate is to our neighbors, not the donor class.
Like the insurgent campaigns that came before us, we use our platform as a base for movement-building and radical transparency. We are building a team that isn’t afraid to name names, challenge the Democratic machine, and fight for a "militant" agenda centered on tenant power and economic justice.
We aren't looking for "staff"; we are looking for co-conspirators who want to prove that grassroots energy can defeat the real estate lobby and the political status quo. If you have the grit, the independence, and the courage to build a revolutionary campaign from the ground up, we want you in the room.
