Children at risk do not vote, have no paid lobbyist, nor high-powered public relations firms. Consequently, the interests of children at risk often take a back seat in the priorities of the day. Keenan's Kids Foundation was formed to assist children at risk by directly assisting those children and training law students and lawyers to be more aware of the needs of children at risk in the legal system.
The Keenan's Kids Foundation was established in 1993 as a non-profit child advocacy organization specializing in child safety and awareness. The Keenan's Kids Foundation has three main objectives: community awareness, charity, and child advocacy. We carry out those objectives through new media initiatives, state and nation-wide safety campaigns, informational books and podcasts, syndicated column articles, fundraisers and charity donations.
