At Feed & Fix Foundation, we’re dedicated to making a difference in the lives of feral and community cats. Through consistent feeding, essential veterinary care, and humane TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) efforts, we work to reduce the homeless cat population and enhance the well-being of every cat in our care. Together, we’re creating a safer, healthier future - one cat at a time.

    Sobre Nós

Achievements: Since 2018, Feed & Fix Foundation has made a significant impact, including: TNR'd close to 600 cats. Feeding 55+ feral cats daily. Established itself as a reliable partner for TNR efforts in Utah.

Goals: We want to focus on four main areas:

    1. Volunteer Program: Managing and stabilizing feral cat populations through TNR and colony care
    2. Voucher Program: Help cover spay/neuter/vaccines
    3. Community Education: Educating the public on humane treatment of feral cats.
    4. TNR Hub: Serving as a resource for TNR efforts across the US, providing information about trap trading posts

Volunteer Program: Volunteers are the backbone of Feed & Fix Foundation’s operations. We are actively seeking and training new volunteers to support our TNR efforts and daily feeding programs. By building a strong, dedicated team, we ensure the long-term sustainability of our mission and expand our capacity to serve more cat colonies across Utah. - Training Programs: Volunteers receive hands-on training in humane trapping, proper feeding techniques, and community education. - Community Engagement: Engaging local residents as volunteers fosters a sense of responsibility and compassion for community cats. - Impact: Each new volunteer helps amplify our reach, enabling us to fix and feed more cats while spreading awareness about humane animal care. The Result: With a growing network of trained volunteers, we are better equipped to meet the rising needs of feral and community cats, ensuring no colony goes unnoticed.

Voucher Program: A Spay/Neuter Voucher Program makes TNR more accessible by reducing the financial burden of sterilization costs. Many people want to help control community cat populations but are discouraged because they are on fixed incomes, etc. By providing vouchers, this program eliminates one of the biggest barriers to participation. It empowers more individuals to get involved, creating a ripple effect of positive change. Increased participation means fewer unwanted litters, healthier colonies, and a more humane approach to managing community cats.

Trap Trading Post: A Trap Trading Post provides volunteers with access to humane traps for TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) without the significant expense of purchasing them individually. By removing this financial barrier, more people are encouraged to participate in TNR efforts, expanding the community’s capacity to reduce cat overpopulation humanely. This initiative empowers volunteers to take action, supports community-driven solutions, and fosters broader involvement in improving the lives of community cats.

Colony Care: Feeding community cats is a cornerstone of TNR and humane cat management. Providing consistent food ensures that cats are healthy and easier to trap for spay/neuter procedures, reducing overpopulation. Proper nutrition also improves their quality of life, helping to prevent illness and reduce nuisance behaviors like scavenging for food. $1/day is about what it costs to feed each cat.
