CASA of Robertson County

The mission of CASA of Robertson County is to provide court appointed volunteer advocates to abused and neglected children. The program's goal is a safe, permanent, loving home for every child it serves.

The organization has been serving children in Robertson County, TN since 2004. It serves the needs of children who are victims of abuse and neglect who come to the attention of the court and are assigned CASA volunteer. Research has shown that children who have been assigned a CASA receive more support services than those who do not have a volunteer advocate. They are also more likely to maintain permanency, which is an important factor in educational attainment, emotional and physical health, and psychological development (source: TN CASA, 2011).
