    Sobre Nós

Global Youth Justice, Inc. is Non-Partisan, Non-Membership or Dues, and Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Charity which Champions 2,050+ youth-led and volunteer-driven Youth Justice and Juvenile Justice diversion programs in 47 States, 30+ Tribes, DC, and 12 Countries on 5-continents and called Teen/Youth/Peer/Student Court and Peer Jury. In these, Historic Numbers of Justice Volunteers, typically youth and young people ages 12-18, including former youth offenders - are giving High-Risk Youth a 2nd, and Even 3rd Chance for Minor Crimes, Offenses and/or Violations.

In America, these Youth-Led Diversion Programs are the most replicated Juvenile Justice Programs since the establishment of the 1st Juvenile Court in 1899. They have NEVER been directly funded by the Federal Government. Since I designed, launched, and managed the first federal or national effort on Teen/Youth/Peer/Student Court and Peer Jury in the world in 1997, they have been a textbook example of local grass-roots movement for (25) years, and show no signs of slowing down, and as the international expansion further accelerates.

After (25) years of locally scaling, and diverting record numbers of juveniles, the youth volunteering typically year-round has scaled, making these diversion programs the most replicated essential service program in America, and you would be hard pressed to find a better example of Active Civic Engagement and Inclusive Democracy.
