APDM is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, created just last year to raise funds (and to solicit donation of services and in-kind goods) to strengthen the technological infrastructure of the Office of the Public Defender of Maryland (OPD). OPD provides legal representation to persons accused of crimes in Maryland who cannot otherwise afford counsel.
