The Cure Starts Now (DC Chapter)
Missão
The Cure Starts Now believes that in order to truly cure cancer you have to focus on those cancers that are immune to conventional treatments, those cancers for which there are no treatments, those cancers that affect children and those cancers that are the biggest bullies. We call this the “homerun cure” and its invention isn’t new. The Cure Starts Now is not just another cancer charity, but the only cancer charity dedicated to the “homerun cure” – curing cancer, one child at a time.
Sobre Nós
Since 2007, The Cure Starts Now has been one of the leaders in non-government funding of pediatric brain cancer research and a pioneer to the efforts to find the homerun cure to all cancers, starting with DIPG. Team Alexis, the DC Chapter of The Cure Starts Now, hosts an annual casino night to raise funds that support this research.
