Missão
To recruit a knowledgeable dedicated volunteer to act as a Special Education Surrogate Parent for every child in Massachusetts who needs one, and to give all those volunteers the training and support they need to create the best possible educational experiences for the children they serve.
Sobre Nós
The Recruitment, Training and Support Center for Special
Education Surrogate Parents (RTSC) recruits volunteers to attend Team meetings,
sign Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor the educational
progress of children in state custody whose parents cannot. The RTSC also offers all Special Education
Surrogate Parents continued support and training throughout their volunteer
experience.
