Friends of Big Marsh

Friends of Big Marsh provides unique cycling experiences in and around Big Marsh Park so that all communities can access the physical and mental health benefits that come with time spent in nature.

Friends of Big Marsh supports the work of the Chicago Park District at Big Marsh through bike park development, fundraising, and community engagement.

Big Marsh is a 300 acre natural area and bike park located on Chicago's Far Southeast Side. This former industrial land has been transformed from a public health nuisance into an oasis: a place where a growing community can experience eco-recreation and cycling opportunities previously unavailable in Chicago.
